I specialize in web design and development. The internet is my inspiration. I love learning and polishing up new and current skills. I live and breathe design with HTML, CSS, and Javascript as well as AJAX, JQuery, Flash, and PHP. I am currently learning web animation techniques using GSAP, doing freelance and managing/creating webpages for Argonne. About Me

My name is Anran Wang and I graduated from Bradley University in December of 2009 with a degree in Multimedia and a minor in Computer Science. In 2016, I got my Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University. I am currently working as Web Associate at Argonne National Lab, working on managing and creating webapges using Drupal and Wordpress, and newsletter creation using GovDelivery. Previously, I had worked as a part time Web Specialist at ISI Telemanagement Solutions working on managing the website, doing frontend and some of backend using html, css, javascript, PHP, and MySQL and helping to improve SEO, as well as working on various marketing projects to help the sales department generate more revenue. I also worked as a Webmaster at Bradley University in the Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering and Technology Department. I am open to opportunities for full time web design and development positions.

Bryce Work

These were done as a hobby. This was using a program called Bryce, originally developed by Corel and then Daz 3d. These were my early dabbles into creating digital artwork using a simple 3d modeling rendering software.

Website Work

I currently work at ISI Telemanagement Solutions and am a Web Specialist working on various marketing projects, working on maintaining the current website. and redesigning the website. Projects include creating and maintaining brochures, case studies, maintaining customers'/resellers' website access, keeping updated logos of current customers, and researching on current trends and practices of web maintenance. Company Site.
- Old version of the site used a mix of coldfusion code, html, css, javascript, and old depricated web semantics, not much of the layout was touched and thus not very glamorous.
- Current site uses Joomla CMS, with theme from Yootheme modified using custom css using UIkit, and some backend PHP implementation, and is responsive.
- Programming Languages used: HTML5, CSS 2.1 and 3, Javascript, PHP for backend of Joomla, forms and database connectivity/implementation, and MySQL. Basic knowledge of Coldfusion was used for maintaining old site from forms, adding meta data, and including template cfm files.
- Tools used: Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Joomla, Widgetkit from Yootheme, and UIkit.

isi Telemanagement Solutions Website

A project I have done as a freelance Web Designer/Developer for a client. He is a singer/songwriter. The project sttarted in 2010. petejive.com
- This was created for a client that is a Singer/Songwrtier in the local area of Naperville. He performs all over Illinois and occasionally out of state. I still actively maintain and update the website.
- Tools used: Photoshop, UIkit, Twitter API, MediaElement.js (for a customized audio player), and ReverbNation widgets.
- Programming Languages used: HTML5, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, and a little bit of PHP.

Pete Jive Website

Another project I have done as a freelance Web Designer/Developer for a client. She started up a company that helps/mentors people into becoming successful in life. This was done in 2011. New Heights Partners Blog: New Heights Partners Blog
- She provides workshops for people who want a new direction in life, to be successful, and change their image.
- Tools used: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, JW Player, and Wordpress for the blog.
- Programming Languages used: HTML(XHTML), CSS, Javascript, JQuery, and PHP for the contact form and Wordpress blog.

I was the webmaster at the IMET Department at Bradley until September of 2010. The website is imet.bradley.edu
- My primary job is to update/maintain and redesign the site with cross browser implementation, create graphics, brochures, flyers, and newsletters for both web and print.
- Tools used: Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Indesign, Flash, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Programming Languages used: HTML(XHTML), CSS, Javascript, Perl, JQuery, and Actionscript 3.

I have worked on the Slane Site back in 2009 at slane.bradley.edu
- My primary role was site design, menu implementation and flash implementation.
- Tools used: Photoshop, Flash, and Drupal CMS
- Programming Languages used: CSS, HTML(XHTML), PHP, and Actionscript 3.

Here is a design concept of a Korean restaurant called Chodang Tofu Village. I went to there website and it wasn't there so I was going to offer to help create their site, but it came back a few days later. Nevertheless, here is the design, the content is from their current site.
